Jim is President and CEO of EQ
Consulting Services. As a management consultant he assists leaders with
managing change to improve organizational performance.
He started his professional career as an engineer in a manufacturing
facility with a Fortune 100 company. Soon he moved into a production
management position and worked most of his career in various line
management positions. His last responsibility was managing change in a
unionized plant of four thousand employees. Seeing the value of the
proactively managing change, he set his sights on becoming a change
management consultant and did so after completing a thirty-year career.
His training to prepare him for effectively providing these services
include studying with well known professional including Dr. Deming and Dr.
Juran. He participated in formal benchmarking study missions in Japan in
the 80's to learn how the highly effective companies there became
effective. He also studied leading organizations in the United States
including G.E and the Jack Welch philosophies, the Saturn high performance
production process and others.
EQ Consulting Services, Inc. was formed for providing consulting services
for managing change. He has been consulting for seven years throughout the
United States as well as internationally. He has worked with businesses
ranging in size from Fortune 100 companies to businesses with only six
employees. He has consulted with a wide variety of business types
including manufacturing, service, construction, marketing, retail sales, Chambers
of Commerce, transportation, distributors, health care, churches and others. |
